  • Why do you post on your website/xanga sit/facebook site/etc ? This question has been on the back burner of my mind for awhile... and now its comin out. I'd like to hear some response from you... The first person to come up with a reason that strikes me as really good upon reading it, will get a , will get a... um , a free e-card.. oh maybe you didn't want that. Hmm.. But think about it. I'd love to hear from you.

You post as a form of self-expression. In fact, it so much a form of self-expression that you use it to project an image of self. You can post to try to show people what you read, what you listen to, or that you like to think about certain things or find enjoyment in doing different things. This may be motivated by any number of things...including social connectiveness, easy PR, or whatever.

and I have no clue what i just said.
(is that statement expressing something I want you to see about me?)

I think you should take a poll to decide how many people think you're a Pole.

I think it's cuz people like to share life.  When I'm experiencing something wonderful, I want other people to be a part of it.  When I'm frustrated, I want someone to understand my frustration and make me feel better!  Of course, real live people are supposed to fill those places.  So maybe I ought to get out and put more time into my homies instead of doing xanga, huh?

Shoot, the other two took my thought!

This is it:  My brothers always said that if they wanted to hear my opinion on something, they'd read my book.

    This is my book.

Hey man, just wanted to tell you I miss you and that I'd love to come see you in September... :) But I'm not sure that I'm on so hopefully I'll find out sooner rather than later!

I'm hitting SBMI this winter again for 3rd and 4th... It's gonna be good times with Hans and Alex and a bunch of other awesome people back.

    Take care

Yes, I'm glad you're loving it there, too.  Isn't it amazing how our "home" really does feel like home!

Why do I post?  It does seem a bit selfish, writing all about our lives and then expecting all manner of comments to pour forth. Like saying, look at me, look at me!  But I do like to write, and really, what's the point of writing to yourself all the time?  If I can use writing as a way to make people smile, or encourage them, or make them think, or in any way make a positive impact, why should I stick it in a tablet for no one to see?  In a way, not writing because it looks selfish could be false humility.

So that turned out long.  And I kinda thought it through as I wrote, so maybe it doesn't make sense.

Hey, what's up? Sounds like you've been keeping yourself busy.Miss ya 2!
To answer your question, I think zanga is really cool cause you can communicate with lots of people and find lots of friends. AND you can communicate with your cousin who lives on the other side of the world!!!! Have a cool day!

Why I post on Xanga:  it's an outlet, for things I want to say to Nobody-in-Particular, for thoughts I think that I think somebody else might like to think about, for pictures of my beautiful homeland that people ought to see (since most people have never been to Iowa-- they DO need to get out more!)...

So who won your little contest thing?

I assume that teaching is consuming all aspects of your life, huh?

I saw your dad yesterday and instantly knew he was your dad. I was at your church for the Christmas hymn sing and enjoyed it very much.

    Merry Christmas!

Xanga is a very handy tool to use when I'm in service and my prayer warriors want to see what I'm up to. Unfortunately, they don't find much out at times... I'm not very good at keeping them updated when I'm in such an important phase of my life.

    What's up?
